WHAT: Del Sol Medical Center will host “Orange Friday,” a tailgate to kick off the fall celebrations surrounding the 100th anniversary of The University of Texas at El Paso. UTEP cheerleaders and Paydirt Pete will attend along with Del Sol Medical Center employees, who will wear UTEP orange in honor of the Centennial celebration.
Del Sol Medical Center is a strong supporter of UTEP and its football program. Approximately 450 Del Sol Medical Center employees are UTEP graduates, including chief executive officer Jacob Cintron. Cintron is also a member of the 2014 Commission – a group of 100 community leaders appointed by UTEP President Dr. Diana Natalicio to help plan and execute the Centennial celebration.
