UTEP students can match their talents and skills to the needs of El Paso’s nonprofit agencies during the 2nd annual Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) Volunteer Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Leech Grove at the corner of University Avenue and Wiggins Road.
Representatives from almost 20 diverse organizations to include those that assist children, the homeless and animals will explain what they do and their need for volunteers during the event with music, refreshments and raffles for movie theater and University Bookstore gift cards.
“The fair makes these volunteer opportunities more accessible for our students,” said Nadia Rivas, a CCE graduate assistant. “The agencies look forward to participating in the fair and meeting the students.”
