College of Health Sciences Appoints Two New Associate Deans

Stephanie Capshaw, OTD, a clinical associate professor in the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program, and Eva Moya, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Social Work, have been appointed associate deans in the UTEP College of Health Sciences.

Capshaw will serve as an administrative liaison to the College Academic Affairs Committee. She will provide oversight for various curriculum and accreditation-related activities and develop new mechanisms to diffuse clinical innovations throughout the curriculum and community. Capshaw has previously served as a clinical assistant professor and director of the MOT program at UTEP.

Moya joined the UTEP faculty in 2010. As an associate dean, she will serve as the administrative liaison to the Faculty Recruitment, Development and Evaluation Committee and develop innovative models to promote interdisciplinary faculty efforts to advance regional capacity in collaboration with university and community stakeholders.
