Edward Rodriguez, a junior commercial music major at UTEP, is participating in the first-ever Audience Choice Award for the Classical Singer Online Summer Competition.
Of the more than 230 singers across four categories who applied for the competition, Rodriguez has been selected as one of 10 finalists in both the Musical Theatre and Classical Pre-Professional divisions.
Winners will be selected based on the number of online votes they receive. The winners will earn cash prizes, free sheet music, and will be featured on the new Classical Singer Music website in October.
