Contractors will close a portion of the right-hand westbound lane of University Avenue near the Union Complex starting at 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, to do additional asphalt work. The project between the traffic control station and the arroyo will be completed by 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. Traffic lanes in both directions will remain open throughout the project. Motorists are asked to reduce speed to maintain a safe environment for pedestrians and work crews.
