Contractors will close some traffic lanes along Sun Bowl Drive and Glory Road near Glory Field on thenorth end of campus from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, to install new light poles and light fixtures around the field.
Orange cones will block off about 80 yards of the right northbound lane north of the roundabout along Sun Bowl Drive and about 50 yards of the right westbound lane of Glory Road starting around the Military Science Building. The lanes will be closed to allow a large crane to set the light poles in place. Flagmen will be posted at both ends of the closed areas to regulate traffic flow and maintain a safe work environment.
Motorists, especially those along that portion of Glory Road, should expect delays and are advised to select alternate routes.
