The right-hand, northbound lane of Sun Bowl Drive will be temporarily closed in front of Kelly and Barry halls through the University Avenue roundabout starting Monday morning, July 6, 2015, due to the ongoing demolition of Burges and Barry halls. The lane will reopen after the project is completed in August 2015. Security fencing will separate the closed lane from traffic along Sun Bowl Drive, which will remain open throughout the project. The demolition will make room for a future interdisciplinary research building. The sidewalk in front of Barry Hall will be closed during this time and pedestrians will be directed to the west side of the street. Sidewalks in front of Kelly and Burges halls will remain open.
Travelers are asked to use caution when driving through the construction zones.
