The El Paso Nonprofit Business Summit, part of the Texas Nonprofit Summit Series presented by the OneStar Foundation, the United Way of El Paso, The University of Texas at El Paso’s Center for Civic Engagement and the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, is a community-organized event to bring nonprofit, higher education and business leaders together to:
- Identify new and innovative approaches to address community needs.
- Learn about what others are doing to improve the lives of members of our community.
- Build skills and knowledge around volunteer engagement, board development, communications strategies and fundraising.
- Strengthen community partnerships and relationships to continue to build a vibrant community.
The summit will also welcome special guest Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott, who will speak about the importance of volunteerism and service through her Texanthropy initiative.
