The largest class of students in the history of UTEP’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) online program attended orientation for the spring 2017 semester in the Health Sciences and Nursing Building on Dec. 5 and 6.

The UTEP School of Nursing admitted 147 students into the MSN program’s three majors – Nursing Education, Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Systems Management. The online program allows professional nurses to prepare for postgraduate roles while giving them the freedom to balance work, personal responsibilities and classwork on their own schedule.

In 2016, the MSN program was ranked as the sixth best online graduate nursing degree in the United States by SR Education Group, an education research publisher.
