Contractors will temporarily eliminate access to the stairs outside the front of UTEP’s Old Main Building from Dec. 14, 2015, through Jan. 2, 2016, to pour new concrete steps and landings. People who work in the vicinity should be aware that jackhammers will be used during the project’s first week.
Crews will erect a temporary fence around the work zone for public safety. People may enter the building through its east and west entrances during business hours. Those with limited mobility should enter Old Main through its west entrance.
