NursePractionersSchools.com announced in March 2017 that The University of Texas at El Paso’s School of Nursing was rated among the “10 Most Affordable Online MSN-NP Programs.”
The website, an online resource for prospective students interested in the nursing field, based its rankings on the programs, specializations, whether or not the program was 100 percent online, and the in-state/out-of-state tuition rates.
In UTEP’s case, the program is the Master of Science in Nursing Nurse Practitioner Program with concentrations in Adult – Gerontological Acute Care, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care.
UTEP’s program ranked fifth on the list. Other Texas institutions and their ranking were Angelo State University, No. 2; Texas Tech University, No. 3; and Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, No. 7.
