TxDOT will close a portion of both sides of Interstate 10 in the same area from 5 a.m. Sunday, June 8, through 6 a.m. Monday, June 9, to erect concrete girders over the freeway. Motorists are asked to avoid the area or be ready to use detours. Westbound traffic will exit at Porfirio Diaz Street and re-enter the interstate at the Schuster entrance ramp. Eastbound motorists will exit at Sunland Park Drive, continue along Paisano, and re-enter I-10 through the U.S. 54 ramp. Concrete barriers will be placed for additional safety and security.
