The University of Texas at El Paso’s Graduate School will host a free open house from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18 in the Mike Loya Academic Services Building for anyone exploring the possibility of pursuing a graduate degree.
Whether individuals are looking to further their current career opportunities, increase their earning potential or just further their knowledge in a particular area, the Graduate School Open House is a one-stop-shop for information to help guide the decision to further your education.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from academic programs, research labs, centers of excellence and the financial aid office. A limited number of graduate school application waivers will be available to those interested in beginning the admission process.
“There are many reasons to pursue a graduate education: meeting requirements for career advancement, increasing earning potential, or for personal satisfaction,” said Bess Sirmon-Taylor, Ph.D., associate dean of the UTEP Graduate School. “The Graduate School Open House will be a great opportunity to learn about the all the possibilities. UTEP offers over 100 graduate education opportunities, including doctoral, master’s and certificate programs.”
