Registration for the 2016 fall session of courses offered by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at The University of Texas at El Paso will open Aug. 15, 2016 and end Aug. 26. Courses are open to adults ages 50 and older and begin Sept. 6.

OLLI seeks to develop a community of older learners who are an integral part of the UTEP campus experience. It provides learning opportunities to enhance the enjoyment, meaning and direction of adult lives as well as their health and well-being.

Classes include arts and crafts, history, health, writing, literature, music and physical activities. No prior academic credentials are required. No exams will be administered, no papers will be assigned, grades given, nor diplomas and certificates issued.

Enrollment is $70 for as many courses as desired during the 12-week term. A parking permit is included. New members also pay a processing fee of $25.

More details and a schedule of classes can be found on www.olliatutep.org.
