Vivian Chen, a senior at Maxine Silva Health Magnet School, won the Skov Ethics Competition on Business Ethics 2016 organized by The University of Texas at El Paso’s College of Business Administration.

Chen’s essay answered the question, “What can businesses do to encourage ethical behavior among employees in the workplace?” She received a certificate and $1,000. Fernanda Wagstaff, Ph.D., associate professor of management and the Robert E. and Jacqueline Skov Professor in Business Ethics, thanked members of her UTEP team, associates from participating high schools, community stakeholders, the contestants and their parents for the success of the competition and the awards ceremony.

The Skov contest started in 2014.
