UTEP Campus to Close Early Thursday, Jan. 22; Delayed Opening Friday, Jan. 23

For safe travel during these weather conditions, The University of Texas at El Paso campus will close at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22. Students, faculty and staff are asked to exercise safety and caution while driving home. Only critical facilities support personnel and the UTEP Police Department will remain on duty. Those personnel are asked to check with their supervisors regarding work schedules.

The campus will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23 for safe travel during these weather conditions. Students, faculty and staff are asked to exercise safety and caution while driving to campus.

Miner Metro shuttles will run until 4 p.m. Thursday and will begin running at 9:45 a.m. Friday.

Thursday’s UTEP Professional and Public Programs (P3) classes are canceled.
