UTEP’s Multicultural Greek Council received Outstanding Achievement Awards in the categories of Academic Achievement, Leadership and Educational Development, and Public Relations. UTEP’s National PanHellenic Council also received Outstanding Achievement Awards in the categories of Academic Achievement, and Self Governance and Judicial Affairs.

The AFLV is the premiere fraternity and sorority leadership conference that attracts close to 3,000 fraternity and sorority members from across the country. The AFLV Awards & Assessment program is designed specifically to assist fraternity and sorority councils in achieving and rewarding the highest level of excellence possible in programming and council management. The awards outline actions and policies of an ideal council and recognize the national best practices in promoting fraternal values of leadership, academics, service and fellowship. The goal of the AFLV awards program is to recognize organizations that are living these values.
