UTEP’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class of 2016 donated $2,500 to the Texas Physical Therapy Foundation (TPTF) to support physical therapy research in Texas. Class officers presented the donation at the Texas Physical Therapy Association’s annual conference on Oct. 22 in Arlington, Texas.

The TPTF provides grants to support research related to physical therapy practice in Texas.

To date, students in the DPT program have raised more than $11,000 for the TPTF, starting with the class of 2012. The UTEP DPT program is the largest TPTF contributor of all DPT programs in Texas.
