UTEP to Observe 4th of July

EL PASO, Texas – The University of Texas at El Paso will not hold summer long-term classes Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. However, final exams for Summer I will continue as scheduled. Key campus offices, including University Communications, will remain open with reduced staffs.

Classes and regular operating hours for all campus office will resume Monday, July 6.

UTEP’s Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Gardens will open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and be closed Saturday, July 4.

The Lhakhang Cultural Exhibit will be open to the public Sunday, July 5, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The UTEP Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Regular hours of operation will resume Sunday, July 5.

The UTEP Bookstore will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
