UTEP’s 25th Annual Minerpalooza Set; Students Invited to Create Poster

EL PASO, Texas – As The University of Texas at El Paso’s largest tradition, Minerpalooza will celebrate its 25th year from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, in the P-9 parking lot on the UTEP campus.

An annual party that includes food, games, live music and a celebration of the start of the fall semester, Minerpalooza often attracts 30,000 people and is one of the year’s biggest fundraisers to benefit UTEP student organizations.

The full talent lineup will be released Monday, July 20, but a teaser video hinting at who will be coming to perform will be released a week earlier.

Students at UTEP are invited to participate in a poster contest to design the official artwork for this year’s Minerpalooza poster. The contest runs Monday, June 15, through Sunday, July 5.
